Amazon.com has just released the single cover and a sneak preview of the single “Who I Am” off of Nick Jonas‘ much anticipated solo side project titled Nick Jonas and the Administration. We are literally counting down the days until December 3rd, the day set to release the single.

“Baby remember my name!” We all know the words to the title song of one of the most remembered films of the 80’s, “Fame.” The iconic movie is getting reworked and modernized for the big screen this September. We caught up with one of the stars of the movie, Kay Panabaker, who plays Jenny.

Kay Panabaker, who is one of the film’s leading ladies, is already one of the most talked about actresses of the summer, and for all the right reasons. At just 19 years old, this actress has graduated both high school and college. She’s got the beauty and she’s got the brains! (Hello? Can we say, “whole package?”)

We caught up with the actress on her way back from the gym. She was as sweet as can be and definitely someone I would consider a good role model for her fans.

P: What is it like being in one of the most anticipated movie remakes? ‘Fame’ is such a classic movie!
K: Wow! When you say it like that, it sounds so intense! (laughs)

P: Although, it’s more than a remake… it’s an entirely new storyline, right?
K: Yeah. That’s one of the things that I loved most about it. It’s the fact that we’re putting a new, modern spin on it. It’s a new storyline, new cast. The only similarity is that it takes place in an arts academy.

P: How was the audition process?
K: I went into this movie thinking “There is no way that I will get this part.” The age range they were looking for was 14-18, and I look really young for my age. So I thought to myself, “are they really going to see me as an eighteen year old senior in high school?” I’ve already graduated high school and college! But I just went for it and they called me back for a singing audition! They asked me to sing a pop ballad and I picked “Stand By Me.”

P: Had you ever sung professionally before?
K: Not really. I did sing for a movie I did with the Sprouse brothers, but that was just for fun. I didn’t go into this hoping to get a singing career out of it.

It’s official! Ashley Tisdale will be releasing “Crank It Up,” as her second single from “Guilty Pleasure!” Yay! We’re so excited that the sexy club track is the second single!

“Crank It Up” will officially be going to radio in September. In the meantime, because her fans showed an interested in “Masquerade” as well, Ashley has chosen “Masquerade” as a buzz single to keep her fans happy until “Crank It Up” is officially released.

Ashley and WBR definitely made the right choice. The video will definitely be hot!

V Factory premiered their highly anticipated second single, “Get Up,” yesterday at Beatstock! Asher, Wesley, Jared, Nicky T and Nathaniel got the crowd excited with some other fan favorites as well, including “Lights, Camera, Action,” their debut single, “Love Struck,” and a tribute to Michael Jackson.

I have to say that after listening to the finished cut of the track, it’s hot! It’s a club banger for sure. This is the song that will definitely make an impact in the clubs. I can’t wait for you all to hear it!

Joe Jonas is moving up the movie-star ladder.

I just got word that Joe is close to joining Hollywood hotshots like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah in director Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy Valentine’s Day.

Yup, the same movie that also has appearances by Joe’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, Twilight star Taylor Lautner and Emma Roberts.

No word on Joe’s role, but…

I’m told he will not be playing himself. The film, about intertwining couples and singles living in Los Angeles, started shooting about three weeks ago and is scheduled to wrap in October.

Not sure when Joe will be able to shoot the movie, because the current Jonas Brothers tour has him on the road until at least Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift may do more than act in Valentine’s Day. I’m told she’s close to signing a deal to record a song for the movie’s soundtrack.
